JUST PLUG IT IN

Families deal with many different challenges daily with issues such as ever-changing family lifecycle, communication across generations, and the realities and issues of blended families.

After the QUEST-I'm-ON My Family Talks workshop, a family can book time for private counselling to provide further guidance to point the family or individuals towards positive growth and change. Counselling helps young people and their parents define their purpose and drive by working on new techniques for effective self-expression, active listening and developing individual character.

Parents can help their teens through some of these issues by talking to them, being patient with them, and creating an environment that is structured and supportive. While some teens and their families can cope with these events better than others, almost all teens will benefit from getting counselling.
