It still had a huge impact on me

Being a leader for this time through, I had different expectations and responsibilities but it still had a huge impact on me. For instance, I wasn't expecting my younger peers to open up as much as they did and I was able to realize that even with the age difference, we all experience the same pains and struggles. Personally for me, the crossing the line and discussing (admitting) a lot of hurtful things that we either done or had done to me was the hardest because it brings back a lot memories. But it helps a lot as well because I got to let it out, and share the feelings with not only other people but my peers. So to wrap it up, I'd just like to say thanks for coming and bring this. It is really appreciated and helped me to realize that no matter what you're going through, you're not alone. (original message)
